New Star Wars Painting!!! Super excited about how this came out. Check out "Leia and Artoo" below:  This painting was sketched freehand from a still frame reference off of the original Star Wars film. Here is the original reference below:  And below, these are the steps I took to get to the finished piece: Most of the work was done in black, white and grey-tones only, with color being added only at the very end, using matte mediums to make layered transparent washes and color passes.
