For this week, I got into an older project I'd started a few months ago, which had been interrupted by other commissions and life issues  - It is a thrill to revisit 'The Good The Bad And The Ugly' here now!!

Welcome back everyone! Happy Wednesday to you 👍

We have arrived at Part 3, and the final Video Log Chapter for how I worked out 'A Dog Named Maybe', a recent Pet Commission I did for a local pet store here in town. Thanks for dropping in! 

For me, at this stage (and this goes for any painting I do), stuff really starts to get fun.

All the values have been laid in, and it's now about layering in colors and making everything pop all around the painting.  Everyone sees the colors first when they look at a painting, but the only reason the colors really stand out is because of all the layers underneath.

Hey guys, welcome back! -You're just in time for part 2 or 3 on this one 👍

Last week, we set up the sketch-work and the base background elements for Maybe, and this week, we are continuing with Maybe's values in black, white and grey tones. Check out the new video below, with the end-of-each-session pics:
