Happy New Years Day, everyone!! -May it treat us all more kindly than 2020 has. (I'm catching up on my Sketch tutorial posts this week, with Tutorial #6 today, first appearing for my $5 Support members on Patreon some weeks ago!) Welcome to Charcoal Sketch Tutorial #6, working with a 'Form In Motion', brought to you courtesy of your friendly neighborhood Artist In Residence! -This time around we are working with capturing a body in motion, working with action lines, blocking the figure and rendering values. Enjoy! By The Way, should you choose to try your hand at this video project, I've included the original .jpeg image and my supply lists for rendering with Charcoal as attachments below. (You will also find a .zip file below with further samples to try your hand at, working with the same concept.) Have a great week and see you next time! Should You Choose To Take On This Mission, you will find here below the source file for the video, the color version of the same pic, just to share it with you, and on the right some further jpeg ideas of forms in motion to try and sketch should you be so bold. Try em out! Reach out to share your work, and if you are interested in doing more in art, I invite you to my twice a month virtual art sessions! (Click on the Patreon link below for more details.) Thanks for dropping by, have a great week and see you soon!
