Huginn, (which means 'thought') and Muninn, (which means, 'memory')
were the ravens of Odin, the All-Father of the Norse Gods in Valhalla.

Each dawn, Odin sent his ravens out to all the 9 Realms.
They flew from the fiery depths of Muspelheim to the icy reaches of Jotunheim, land of the Frost Giants,
and all the kingdoms in between.

Huginn and Muninn were commanded by the All-Father to observe his Kingdoms each day,
and report back all of their dealings to him each night.

-And each night they would return to him; imparting counsel, wisdom and secret knowledge
 obtained on their daily journeys.
