New Works - "Thor Vs. It Came From Beneath The Sea," and More!

Three projects going on right now at the Studio! Please check them out below:

First up, finally finished Thor today!!  -Here he is in all of his Ham Fisted classic comic-style glory: 

This is a tribute to Jack Kirby, Stan Lee and all of the other creative geniuses who worked with Thor during the 60's. 70's, 80's and beyond. Although this is a 12" x 16" Acrylic painting on a Gallery canvas, it is meant to be look like what a Thor comic from those times might have looked like. (You will have to be the judge on that one :)

2nd Project going: This one is the beginning of  a new project, going out to Adriann- Robbie the Robot Meets the Clockwork Orange Droogs:

This will be the third Robbie painting in a series featuring Robbie employed in the service industry, engaged with various sci-fi and fantasy characters;  the first has him with Ultraman, the second has him at the bar serving a Cylon Centurian with other sci-fi references, and now we have Robbie with Alex and friends at the Moloko Bar before they go for a night of Ultraviolence.  Below is the original source image from the film and a Robbie Reference, in case you hav e not heard of him:

And 3rd up, is a new Star Wars for Will! This time we are doing an Empire Strikes Back treatment - below is some concept art for what will go on the canvas, worked on paper and colorized with a little color pencil and some Photoshop coloring:
